With only 860 square feet to work with, designer Barasona has designed this apartment with an open floor plan that is beautifully integrates bedroom, bathroom and living in the one space. Perhaps the main focal point of this flat is the huge bedroom and bathroom suite that features super sky high ceilings and large windows for natural light to flood in. The oversized bed is suspended from reclaimed wood pallets that really stand out against all of the other natural materials; yet it’s all still cohesive. Wood shutters mixed with natural stone and a frameless glass shower all come together to create a seamless project in the beautiful historic city of Barcelona.

“This was an interesting commission. The client wanted an entirely sunken bed with hidden storage and invisible heating! We couldn’t go down as it was on the first floor so we raised it up. A simple solution elegantly executed, the floor lifts up to reveal storage ‘bins’ with a matching stepped drawer unit.” Materials Solid maple throughout.A minimalist bedroom? Bad. Ass.
