Ecorkhotel - Evora, Portugal
Designed by native architect Jose Carlos Cruz, the Ecorkhotel claims to be the first cork-clad hotel in the world. Aiming to resemble a traditional medieval village from the Alentejo region, the complex consists of the main building and 56 bungalow-style suites scattered among olive, holm and cork trees. The resort’s symmetric accommodation spaces are characterized by avant-garde design with refined lines, minimalist shapes and gleaming white walls. The main building comes with a series of leisure facilities, including spa, health club, gym, bar and restaurant, as well as fully-equipped conference rooms.

Abandoned Mall In Bangkok became an Urban Aquarium. Album in comments
AayKay:
basically, The New World shopping mall, a 4 storey former shopping mall. The top 7 floors were demolished to adhere to building codes in 1997. In 1999 the mall burned due to suspected arson committed by a competitor in the area. The disaster resulted in several casualties, and the building has remained abandoned ever since.
At some point in the early 2000′s an unknown person began introducing a small population of exotic Koi and Catfish species. The small population of fish began to thrive and the result is now a self-sustained, and amazingly populated urban aquarium.
Original Op’s website is pretty cool and you should see the other travel related pics
